That statement has been a guiding force in my life since I heard it a few years ago. Don't wait for the storm, but learn to have fun with everything that you do. I have found a wonderful way to make money and play, and to really do some kinds of play therapy, you need extra money to "kick it up a notch". When you spend your time providing nurturing to others, whether it is for your family, friends or your clients, it is time to put yourself first and fill your own cup. You need to have the time and the money to be able to nurture yourself before you can be the best person you can be for those that you care about and support.
